Extensions are positioned close to the scalp by weaving, braiding, or bonding, and may consist of real or synthetic hair. They are designed to add length and volume to the style. When applied professionally, extensions will mix and move naturally with any style.
Your extensions should last anywhere from 3-6 months.
Detangling: When you comb out your extensions start from the ends and brush down. Gradually move up and comb from the mid-length, and then finally comb down from the root.
Brushing: Be sure to use a soft bristle bush when brushing hair.
It's all about the braids! Weave is a style that requires the client's entire head be braided before a needle is used to sew the extensions into the braids. Extensions have a number of different insertion methods including clip ons, adhesive, microlinks, and stiching. It is a strand by strand application of hair. All weave is a type of extensions but all extensions are not weaves!
